China Molybdenum Wire Introduction
Molybdenum wire is an important product among molybdenum finished products and its total production accounted for 13% of molybdenum deep processing product’s total output. China molybdenum wire is divided into pure molybdenum wire and doped molybdenum wire and the diameter is generally between 0.051 to 0.350mm. The brands of China molybdenum wires are Mo1, Moδ, Mo2, Mo3, Mo3 δ. There Mo1 and Mo2 are pure molybdenum and Mo3 is doped molybdenum wire which is doped with Ca, Mg and other elements. Molybdenum wire main production processes are mainly as follows: First, through the powder metallurgy method can obtain molybdenum powder and the metal powder after sintering will produce molybdenum bar.
Secondary, the molybdenum bar is processed rotary forging or rolling to obtain molybdenum rod. Finally, after tensile process the manufacturers can manufacture molybdenum wire with required diameter.
